Do I need to complete ground school before taking my Flight Review?
It depends on the certification level you are pursuing. For standard Advanced RPAS operations, formal ground school is not legally required. Our Advanced Exam Prep provides the comprehensive knowledge needed to pass the Transport Canada Small Advanced exam before your flight review. However, for Level 1 Complex Operations (L1CO), Transport Canada mandates completion of a certified 20-hour ground school course before you are eligible to write the L1CO exam and schedule your flight review.
